VICTORY  FOR QUEENSLAND 

 

Health Regulation 270A has been amended but more needs to be done!

 

Queensland Patients now have lawful access to cannabis but much more needs to be done for local supply and protection for patients growing their own cannabis or obtaining it from the illicit market.

Protest and March: State Approval Process and Unjust Laws Need Action

 

19 April at 9.30: Queensland Health Building, 147 Charlotte St, Brisbane and then at 11.30 we will be marching to Parliament House, George Street. 

 

20 April at 10 am: Protest at Parliament House

 

21 April TBA

Take action now by sending our pre-written emails and notices to Federal and State members of Parliament and Government agencies calling on them to amend laws and regulations and to change policy around medical cannabis and to introduce initiatives and provide funding for education, training and support services.  

All petitions from 2015 have been tabled in Queensland Parliament and responses given by the Health Minister Cameron Dick.  In 2015 we collected thousands of signatures over four petitions requesting the Queensland Government to amend Health Regulation 270A for patients to lawfully access medical cannabis in Queensland and to bring patients under the health regulations and a State program for cultivation and supply, an amnesty for patients growing their own or obtaining it from the illicit market, support and training services, interim measures and more.
